Oohlala helps couples discover shared interests, turn them into bucket-list ideas, and plan or remember activities together.
The basic flow is simple: complete a quiz together, import the results into the app, explore your shared matches, and add the things you both want to try to your bucket lists and calendar.
Complete a couples quiz
- Open Quizzes in Oohlala and choose the option to start a quiz.
- Select a quiz and enter the requested partner details.
- Each partner completes their own questions. You can complete both parts on the same device or use the partner link when available.
- Once both partners have finished, the completed quiz displays a six-digit quiz code.
Keep the quiz code private and import it promptly. Quiz codes are available for app import for a limited time.
Import a completed quiz
- Open Quizzes in the app.
- Choose Enter Quiz Code.
- Enter or paste the six-digit code and tap Add Quiz Results.
- Select which partner you are so Oohlala can display the results from your perspective.
The imported results and personalized bucket-list ideas are then saved to the app on that device.
Oohlala Premium
Unlock Premium
Oohlala Premium unlocks all imported quiz matches and quiz-generated bucket-list items. Tap Unlock Oohlala Premium on the Home screen or from a locked quiz result, then follow Apple’s purchase steps.
Premium is a monthly auto-renewable subscription managed through your Apple Account.
Restore Premium
If you previously subscribed but Premium is not unlocked, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.
The Restore Purchases option is hidden while Premium is already active.
Your data stays on your device
Oohlala does not provide an online backup for your app data. Imported quiz results, bucket lists, completed items, ratings, notes, calendar activities, and app settings are saved locally on the device.
If you delete the app, reset all data, lose the device, or the device is damaged, Oohlala cannot restore that app data. Your Apple subscription can be restored separately, but restoring a subscription does not restore quiz results, bucket lists, notes, or calendar activities.

Bucket Lists
Keep the ideas you both want to try in one place. Quiz results can create personalized bucket-list ideas, and you can also create your own lists and custom items. Items can be scheduled, rated, and marked complete.
Calendar
Schedule future activities or record completed ones. Scheduled bucket-list items are linked back to their original item, and you can also add custom activities that are not part of a bucket list.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my quiz code not working?
Check that both partners completed the quiz, that the code contains six digits, and that the code has not passed its import window. You also need an internet connection while importing.
Why can I only see some quiz matches?
The free version provides a preview. Oohlala Premium unlocks all imported quiz matches and quiz-generated bucket-list items.
Why did Restore Purchases not find my subscription?
Confirm that you are signed in to the same Apple Account used to subscribe and that the subscription is still active. Restart the app and try again. If Premium is already active, the restore option will not be shown.
Does restoring Premium restore my app data?
No. Restore Purchases restores subscription access only. It does not restore quiz results, bucket lists, notes, ratings, or calendar activities.
How do I cancel Premium?
Manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Oohlala or resetting app data does not cancel the subscription.
What is the difference between scheduling and completing an activity?
An activity with a future date is scheduled. Once you have done it, update or record it as completed so you can add a rating and notes.
How do I delete everything saved in the app?
Open Settings and choose Reset All Data. This cannot be undone and does not cancel an Apple subscription.
